Kara FINALLY dilated from a 3 to a 5. Yeah! The nurse put an internal CONTRACTION (not fetal) monitor in to get a better handle on the contractions. They turned off the pitocin to see if the contractions will continue on their own. Kara feels a little nauseated which could be a sign that the end is near, or not. The doctor just checked in and said he'll be back at 5:30 (PST). As for Aaron and me, we're doing great. We've had lunch, watched Cash Cab, surfed the internet. This birth experience is quite fun.

Progression

KARA! You're having a baby!! I can't stop smiling for you and I too am getting the butterflies just thinking about what you're going through and who you are about to meet. I'll be thinking of you and praying for you! Please keep up the updates-- they're so fun.
