Dear Winter,
I'm pretty sure that we can't be friends anymore. I went to class today and there was no snow, when i walked back to my car there was three inches of snow on the ground and on my car. That's just not cool. I also think that you ruined my shoes. I'll take cash for that. Maybe next year people will like you better.
Sincerely,
Kara Barnard

Hey there friend. I miss you. School and this blasted weather have kept us apart much too long. We need to play! Your poetic letter is brilliant. You should be a professional blogger. Is that a career option? Big hug little kiss
Here here!
You crack me up. I'm usually a big fan of winter, but pretty much only if I don't have to drive in it every day, walk a mile to my car from school, and sit in a freezing house. Maybe one day when I'm out of school and can enjoy a cold winter day in a nice home watching movies with hot chocolate. Call me worldly, but seriously. Yeah, I missed seeing you last week! I, too, was extremely disappointed. You must have come when we were done with all our stuff at the counter and went to work in other places. I hope I see you tonight!
A year from now you will be missing winter because you will be living where it doesn't snow (it doesn't snow in San Jose, right?). Anyway, I LOVED your letter/blog. I wish you could send some of your snow our way. All we've had is rain and it is wet and boring. Fairfax Co. hasn't had one snow day yet. Boo. Okay, kiddo, love ya.--Momma
Well at least next year you won't have to worry about it except when you visit. Winters like those are only nice to visit, not live in!
That is why we live in Las Vegas. It was 65 degrees yesterday, I actually got HOT and had to put a short sleeve shirt on!!! I am sorry, that is the pits!
eh. it's snowed so much this winter that i've had to actually wear shoes (as opposed to flip flops)... very upsetting
dear kara,
