Calling All Readers

Alright, for some reason i have been FLYING through books lately. Over the summer i acquired a few books that i added to my "To Read" list, at the time i thought the list was long and it would take me awhile to get through them... Well i am now officially out of books to read and want to head out to Barnes and Noble for some retail/book therapy but i need a little guidance. Do any of you have book recommendations? Books that you loved/can't live without owning a copy? Your help would be fantastic. Thanks.

Poisonwood Bible is one of my all-time favorites. It starts slow, but it's great. Thanks for the blog comments, you are like the sole reason I keep posting my stories, i feel like you really appreciate them. p.s. I had an honors student in class ask me if Jefferson Davis was a smart guy, before I could answer another student blurted out "Well, duh, he invented the light bulb!" It was sooo funny, I actually laughed at my student. So bad! How is the nannying going?

After reading this comment, you don't even need a new book! ha!

You should have called me! If you want a love story that puts Bella and Edward to shame then you've got to read Pride & Prejudice. These is my Words by Nancy Turner is one of my fave's and another Jane Austin must read is Persuasion! But we can talk more books at lunch...

I have to agree with your friend that said pride and prejudice will put bella and edward to shame. If you are no completely into classics, and easier classic to get into is Jane Eyre, And it even includes an Edward!!!! I love this book.

How about going back and reading some of the books that you wrote such great book reports on in middle school? JK!
