I'm 13 weeks along right now and thought that i would share the exciting news.
Here is a semi-scary ultrasound picture of the baby that was taken yesterday.
Its looking directly at the baby, the white part is the head, the two star looking things are its arms pointing toward the sonogram, the darker part is its tummy and the bottom circles are its knees.

We found out we were expecting two days before Christmas and couldn't pass up the opportunity to share the exciting news with our families since they were all together for the holidays. The night of the 23rd we headed to the mall and got little messages inscribed on some onesies. We wrapped one for my family and sent the other one off on a plane with my sister in law for aaron's family.
We're excited to finally share the news with you too!

Kara, Im so excited for you. Last week Erika and I were pretending to lift weights at the gym and wondering when you were going to get pregnant. How ironic. Come back to Provo so we can hang out!

So...yeah...for our first ultrasound, I was like "Uh...is it supposed to look like that?!" Not cute. The human look is much more becoming.
